Some of these sites are really amazing, and offer some pretty unique tools.

Great, I was searching for something along the lines of this. I was wondering, do you think newsletters are still an good way of marketing online? Does anybody still use them successfully and actually get readers?

    Appreciate the help!

Hi Lauren, thank you for your post.
About newsletters, yes, I definitely think they are worth the time it takes. It is an effective and cheap way of marketing your site. To get people to sign up, you might even offer something, maybe a competition on your site. It also depends on what you are writing about, but generally I think it is a very good idea to give people to sign up for your words of wisdom ;-) .

Hey Lauren, It is only the company that can say if the newsletter marketing is successful or not. Personally, I receive around 10-15 newsletters every day from different companies whose products I am interested in. And I do read them and even go to the website to check the offer out. I do not buy everytime I get a newsletter, but I do go to the website and browse. This is what I think, from a marketing perspective, what the main function of newsletters is – to make customers go to the company’s website/webshop and at least make them browse. In this way customers get familiar with your company and products and you get popular, and fortunately make profit! :-)
    Best Slavi

P.S. Admin, you have done an amazing work! I am grateful and fortunate to know you personally! :-)

Hi Slavi, great to hear from you :-) ! And thank you for your input in the discussion, you raise some interesting points. 10-15 newsletters per day sounds like a lot to be receiving, but the point is that newsletters should be able to drive more traffic to your site. Just make sure that you say something worthwhile when you send out the letters, and don’t send them out too often. Once a month would be ideal, I believe.
